A Bit About Me

 

She is Bay Area raised and cultivating her gift in digital media storytelling, photography, and purpose-driven creative strategy.

 

Her work focuses on creating images and experiences that reaffirm inner beauty, elevate community stories, and reflect the power of media to create social impact.

 

Hey I’m Niyana Sanders, a Bay Area raised creative currently based in Los Angeles. I’m a multidisciplinary storyteller working at the intersection of digital media, social impact, and faith-rooted vision.


I began working at 16, but at 20 I intentionally stepped into my creative calling and launched my photography career. I created visual and social media content for nonprofit organizations including Nexxt – Youth and Young Adult Ministry, Kingdom Collective, and Lake Chabot Jr. Golf Academy. Those early projects shaped my understanding of how strategic storytelling can uplift communities and amplify meaningful work.

In June 2025, I assisted my family in launching Faith Blvd., a Christian-based streetwear brand that creates pieces designed to uplift our community — without saying a word. Being part of purpose-driven initiatives continues to affirm what I’ve always known: I am most fulfilled when contributing to something greater than myself.



I earned my BFA in Digital Media Art from San Jose State University and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Social Media at USC, where I am refining my focus as a social media strategist for impact. My work centers on using media to challenge harmful narratives and protect future generations from rhetoric rooted in racism, sexism, and colorism. I believe digital platforms can either reinforce broken systems or help reimagine them — and I choose the latter.




Outside of my professional work, I love building community through games — whether card, board, or digital. Friendly competition, shared laughter, and meaningful connection matter to me just as much as strategy and storytelling.


I’m here to create with intention, serve with excellence, and steward media in a way that leaves people and communities better than I found them.
